Mikey, I apologize if I offended you; I most assuredly do not think less of you because you are a member of an organized faith. I think I've made it clear that I also have faith in the judgment of the lord; I just don't like organized religions. I feel they're mostly detrimental to our advancement as a species.

I have to disagree there. for hundreds of years religions sparked wars between lands. War is when new innovations and inventions get implamented. hence religion actually accellerted our advancement :)
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Yes, war is absolutely necessary, but we could find a better reason to fight than " My god has a bigger d**k than yours".

Thank you, Rochey.

And again I have to reiterate that while I agree that religion has been a convenient excuse for terrible things during our history, there would have been other excuses had that one not been available. And I'm not offended personally; I'm just trying to point out that when talking about any sort of creed, ethos, or cultural subdivision, blanket generalizations almost always tend to fall apart.

Not a problem. At least now it's easy for people to find.
