It happened, and call it simplified but, if you've ever been to their forum, my god. Filled with right wing nutjobs, ban happy moderators, and an anti-trek, anti-ditl, anti anything better than Star Wars bias...Very UNcool!

You're getting closer but that's still not a rant. You need some serious negative emotions and coherent sentences. A point would also be awesome.Victory is Life wrote:It happened, and call it simplified but, if you've ever been to their forum, my god. Anyone except 'Granny Grammar' over here?Tyyr wrote:You're getting closer but that's still not a rant. You need some serious negative emotions and coherent sentences. Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
I think he means that some specific references would be appreciated.
For instance, how exactly are they "anti-ditl"?

No, I'm trying to get you to have an actual rant instead of a vague complaint.Victory is Life wrote:Geez, are you trying to push my buttons?!? The sentence was clear and coherent...Anyone with an OPINION want to chime in? Anyone except 'Granny Grammar' over here?

They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,

I'm about confused myself. What exactly are you trying to tell us?
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast

That spacebattles sucks? ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
In his def, there is some serious portal hate going on over there. Then again, they are all under the impression any sci-fi universe would pwn trek.

The Most elegant point made about this topic. Hats off to you Deep.Deepcrush wrote:Who???
Here is my take on it, who gives a flying *BEEP* what they think about DITL, Star Trek, Star Wars or anything else for that matter. They are entitled to there rather limited opinions. We know this is a good site, any of us who stick around to post a bit know its a good only community. In fact I think that's enough said on this.
On a more interesting note, changed my avatar.

Re: Spacebattles.com Rant
Regarding SB.com itself, I think I've been there a grand total of twice. Nothing there ever caught my interest, so I didn't stay.
Browing their Vs forums just now, though, brings up a 19 page long thread about Halo Vs Trek. At a wild guess I'm going to say that this rant was sparked by said thread. Not that I know for sure, since I've far better things to waste my time on than reading it.

Spacebattles.com came into my house and kicked my dog!
