New and interesting ways to die in the Jurassic period

Post by Mikey »

New (to America) long-necked ornithopod dinosaur found.

And since we all had a discussion of how friggin' cool the deinonychus was, now we have a total of 6 nine-inch rending claws for your disemboweling pleasure.

"This content is currently unavailable."

On a somewhat related note, I was watching a program last night where they reconstructed in CGI a fight between a pack of deinonychus and a tenontosaur. Was damn cool. Deins rule.

Don't know why you can't get the vid, but here's a link to the story. Interestingly, while related to the tyranosaur, deinonychus, and other ornithopod predators, this appeared to be a herbivore.

Ah, a therizinosaur. Yeah, those things can be pretty damn odd.
