Sounds like my information was accurate then - another reason to continue to steer clear of it.

It was weak, even Mila Jovovich couldn't make it worth watching. I've seen the first 20 minutes of it and the last 30. So I've missed the middle 60 or so. I don't think I'm missing anything.

You aren't. Ultraviolet is the single crappiest Vampire work I've ever seen in my life.
