Indeed - the monarchies of the United Kingdom are legally separate. This doesn't change the fact that Elizabeth II is British.

I'm fairly certain Quebec is a province, not a nation.

So, you're saying that Canada is ruled by Her Majesty, without any intervention from Parliament? Hardly points to Canada being outside the jurisdiction of the UKoGBaNI - as i said, the Queen embodies the state, not the other way 'round.
