So says Alex. ;) As far as Bladerunner, there is allusion to further background in the novel on which the movie is based, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. Much as I love Ridley Scott, he didn't create that world.

Soldier with Kurt Russel actually takes place in the same universe as Blade Runner, if your itching for another look at it.

True enough, what I should have said was Scott did a good job bringing it to the screen.

Soldier was definitely a 'brilliant concept, not-so-brilliant execution'.

If you're gonna have a couple of super soldier types duke it out, then at least make sure the one with only one eye is played by Kurt Russell. And give him an eyepatch.

"Maybe you should have made him smart, instead of fast."

Thats all the answer that statement requires.

Thanks, Deep. :) Yeah, it was a fairly good movie that basically left me with about a billion questions. What's Grig's story? How was the Star League formed? How did Xur fall? What's up with the Ko-Dan? How did Maggie and Alex fare on Rylos? Did Earth 'mature' enough for contact?

Did they finally rebuild the fighter corps? Did they ever go on the offensive?

That would be pretty cool if they were recruiting en masse from Earth!
