There's no reason that both couldn't have happened. The guys in charge of the mine and the company itself are hardly necessary when it comes to a rescue operation. And I daresay that any country in Europe or North America would react similarly to how th Chileans did were this to happen there.shran wrote:If this would have happened in Europe or in the US the upper echelons of the mining company would have been completely gutted because teh accident could happen.
