Well, it's coming in; the outer bands are hitting me now. The wind is already pretty serious. In about three hours, I'll be in the eye.
If I don't make it, let me just say: YEEEEEHAAAAAW!!!!!!
There are other worlds than these.

From what I've heard, the storm is pretty bad. All power is out in Houston.

There was a bit about Ike on the news this morning, apparently it caused a fair bit of damage. On the plus side, there was no mention of fatalities, which is a good thing.

I heard 3 fatalities, which may or may not be in Houston, I don't recall.
