Honestly, there is an excellent chance that the first Mars mission will end in disaster. There is ALREADY an excellent chance that it would be a one way trip.

Fair point. Ok.. sign me up for the
second trip (or maybe 3rd at the rate NASA {well anyone really} succeeds on Mars missions...)
