The preist should remember the sotry of the prodigal son. No matter how terrible the sins were, there is always the possibility to reconcile with God. So LET THEM VOTE, they will be reconciled with Him if they wish anyway.

I'm just not sure how it's the public at large who is sinning by voicing there opinion.

WHat I want to know is how the guy'll even find out if people voted for Obama. Unless he plans on asking each person that walks up to him to get communion, there's no way for him to know.

What he said was that voting for Obama is a sin and thus they should go to confession before getting the body and bloody of Christ.
