Well, if you want to know what I didn't do, I didn't use a torrent to get it. Wink wink nudge nudge.

I recently destroyed three Dominon Battleships using an F-302. I basically just maneuvered around them and had them collide with each other until they were destroyed. I also had to avoid their weapons fire.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

Based on a conversation in another thread, I put three Warbirds against one Keldon and four Galors, while I just cloaked and directed the Warbirds at targets.

Result: 3 Warbirds destroyed, 3 Galors destroyed; minor damage to the remaining ships. I was a bit surprised at the outcome.

Thats an even worse kill ratio then even I thought of...

Either those were some very poor Romulan commanders or some very good Cardassian ones.

The Cardies kept closing in, firing torpedoes, then withdrawing away from the D'Ds firing arcs. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So, yeah, the Cardie AI was definately competant.

That tactic should have gotten the cardis pasted. The D'D have a far better arc of fire. 3 D'D vs 5 cardis should have has the Rom's a clear victory with only one D'D lost. Each D'D should be able to take out a Galor with only a few seconds of focused fire. The Keldon teaming up with another Galor and working together should be able to take out a D'D.

The opening shots would be 3 galors lost and one D'D lost or even just crippled.
The second volley would take out the keldon & galor and leave to the D'Ds to pick up any friends from the lost D'D and leave.

Like I said, I'd be shocked to see the Romulans lose anymore then just a single ship in that battle.

The Romulan AI is remarkably poor in this game, IMO. It can't use the Valdore properly either.

Next time, I'll join the battle, and see how the results change.

I had the misfortune of downloading a demo for bridge commander, i say misfortune because it's a bloody brilliant game and i really ant it, however, the BEST price I have found is £70,and I can't bring myself to pay that much for a game.

I did get a couple of demo mods though, and got owned by a bunch of shuttles in a sov.
