Does anyone else ever accidentally read that abbreviation as "BDZ"?
Yup. Had a bit of a double-take there.

I saw Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell when I was a teenager; I still love both of those films. As far as series go, I love Cowboy Bebop - I think it's brilliant. I also enjoyed the hell out of Outlaw Star, and Dragonball Z has some really great moments.

I'm thinking about making some of my fiction in Anime format, as the current limitations on visual effects would turn any live-action version of most of my work into multiple $400 million+ films.

Outlaw Star was one I forgot - I enjoyed that a bit. Ghost in the Shell was a decent film, but I found the series lacking.

I never actually caught the series. Personally, I thought the film was good enough as a stand-alone, and a series based on it would probably cheapen the concept.

It refers to someone under the age of consent. Like yourself, I suppose.

Acording to UrbanDictionary.com:
1. jailbait

An attractive underaged girl who you'd like to bang. But if you get caught banging her you'll go to jail, so she's the bait that lures you into the jail cell, hence the term jailbait. Is similar to a lolita, except the term jailbait only applies to an attractive underaged girl that you want to bang, while a lolita is an attractive underaged girl who also wants to bang you

I love Cowboy Bebop. Fantastic series. Also Trigun, Ghost in the Shell, and Bleach. Some Naruto. DBZ, classic! Has anyone else seen Crying Freeman? Very adult content! Not for kids (or the wife)! I almost consider it hentai with gore.

I suppose it depends on the woman. I know quite a few good women who love a little sexy anime now and then. Check my MySpace page; the first two of my friends at least...

Crying Freeman was a great one that I had forgotten - but Tsukiyumi... if you feel sexy after watching it, you've got the drive of a bull elephant on Viagra.

I just have to ask. Are you a female? Alternatively do you have a thing for jailbait (like much of Japan does)?

Me I've enjoyed Ghost in the Shell(first movie and stand alone complex, haven't seen the new one), Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Plus a lot more actually with varying degrees of enjoyment. I can not stand DBZ.

And I've been to busy for a while now to watch anything new.

Oh and everybody should watch "Grave of the Fireflies" at least once.
:? No, I'm a guy. And I'm not a pedophile, thank you very much.
