Just look at the roundabout on the right - Traffic on the B5211 from Eccles, , A572 from Hazlehurst and traffic coming off of the M60 coming from the M61, Whitefield/Leeds etc, have to give way to all traffic coming from under the M60 around and onto the south-bound entry... and they only give way to any traffic if someone coming from the B5211 is trying to go to Hazlehurst manages to nudge out despite not having right of way to get onto it.

And there's a lot of traffic coming down the A572 from Boothestown, that blocks traffic coming from the A575... Just queuing on the A575 on a morning adds half an hour to the journey time... in a queue that only stretches maybe half a mile because hardly any who can use the boothestown route doesn't, and others coming from walkden end up with slightly different routes.


Suffice to say, Roundabouts have their place... if the on/offs are made correctly. As it stands though, no, they're not. This one is the worst... and it's on my commute.

Ain't nothing perfect. The important thing is to keep looking for a solution. I don't know much of U.K. government's hand in road maintainence, nor if the Tories care about improving regular citizens lives, but you guys at least made the leap to roundabouts. Hell, you made the leap to the metric system with nary a peep.

Anyway, I didn't know this was a real movie. I thought it was a joke from The Simpsons.
