Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

Behold the love child of an F-14 and an F-22.

It is indeed pretty epic, it was one of the proposals for the US Navy's NATF (Naval Advanced Tactical Fighter) program in the 1990s.

You look at this and think "Oh, nice photo of a pretty girl," right?
But this is not a photograph. This is a
drawing ... and it was drawn with ballpoint pens. And only eight different colours of ballpoint pen, at that.

I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll put it here.
I recently found a practical, working LCARS desktop interface, plus voice commands as well as a red alert and stardate function. It's actually pretty cool.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

One of the many reasons I'm happy to own one. Great gif there.
