It is indeed far easier to demonize. I prefer to do my own thinking rather than toe the ideological line, which seems to be the accepted way on this board.

I have no issues with making a demon out of someone in a time of war. But I don't recall being at war with the New York City Sufi Community. Do I like Islam, or trust Islam... no, but that's a personal bias and has nothing to do with right or wrong.

I have yet to see anything about the Beck rally that is demeaning, insulting, or otherwise negative. Although it perhaps a bit much to have Palin as a speaker and keep it non political, as much of a political creature that she is. She did at least try not to be political.
