Re: New Tron Trailer
I for one am looking forward to it.

Agreed. So far, it doesn't look like it will suck - as it easily could.Tyyr wrote:I am cautiously optimistic about this.

I just re-watched the original; I hadn't seen it in about 20 years.Tyyr wrote:That and I f***ing love Tron.
Awesome movie.

Now I'm really psyched for this sequel; let's hope it can meet our expectations.

Re: New Tron Trailer
I don't really know that I HAVE expectations for the new movie, really. I can't really think of where the story would have gone from where Tron left off. Apparently Flynn went back to the computer world and stayed there... but in what role? And why are there still games going on, if the whole point of bringing down the MCP was to stop that from happening? Did Flynn become a bad guy?

Bring on the light cycles, I hope it's a good movie.
This is a shout out to the old farts, remember the TRON arcade game? I'm sure they'll have an X-Box version out soon. 8)

I get the impression that Flynn has either gone bad or just totally indifferent.
Maybe 20 years of exposure to the internet has totally deadened him to the plight of the gamers, or something.

20 minutes of 4chan can bring a sane mind to it's knees. Imagine what 20 years of that will do to you.
