Whats the worst virus you guys have encountered?
Specific name isn't needed, just wondering what it did.
For me, a friends laptop a few years back go one that totally fried his OS. I think it was Windows 2000. At first, it would shut down once in awhile. After a week, after taking twenty minutes to boot, it would crash before the main screen loaded.
He had to replace it because he didn't have a backup OS CD.
