Mercenaries 2: World in Flames

Post by Aaron »

Anyone else tried this? I picked it up at Wally World for 20$ and I have to say, I'm kicking myself for not checking it out earlier. It's basically GTA with tanks and at the end you get Tac nukes!

Pretty awesome for what I paid.

Nice, will have to see if the local has it.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Its an enjoyable game, and I think your description of GTA with bigger guns suits it perfectly
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

I liked the original one, but haven't checked this one out yet. Must see if the local shops have it.

The reviews slated it but I bought it anyway. What..a fantastic choice. GTA with military grade weaponry is pretty much dead on, and it is just so epically fun. Levelling an oilrig just never gets old.

Sometimes I think that reviewers forget that not everyone wants a nerdgasm story (MGS4) and just want to blow crap up.

I didnt understand much of the story of MGS4, But It is one of my favourite games for the pure drama. That said, there is nothing quite like levelling Maracaibo city with an armada of rocket strikes :D
