You're a captain, which ship do you take?

Post by Sionnach Glic »

Because people have started posting non-ST choices in the ST version of this thread, I decided to make a general thread for this subject.

Like the othe thread, the subject is simple. You can pick any ship from any universe to be captain of. What do you choose?

Death Star. Or V'Ger.

Mines bigger.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I, in another thread wrote: I think I'd take a Battlestar, from the Galactica unit run not the later wireless, updated run, and go off doing whatever it is battlestars do.

Sajuuk the Maker.

My ship is a god.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

pfft if you played Homeworld 2 you would know that sadly Sajuuk didn't live up to its hype. Sure it can destroy a frigate in one shot but it takes two hits to destroy a destroyer! So really its like as powerful as 6 ships its own size.

Hey, a Battlestar is not a wankship!

World Devastator from Star Wars seems a good one. Self-contained mining, refining, manufacturing, and weapons platform. It grows, adapts, and reproduces. I just have to make sure it doesn't need a control signal, and I can fly to a few places, selling industrial capacity in exchange for credits/resources.

GSV and TARDIS are very nice, but I at least want something I can comprehend.

World Devastators have one draw back. May have been over looked...
They have no need for organic creatures on their ships... ;)
