This put me in mind of "Love Hurts" by Nazareth
Some fools think of happiness
Blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves, I guess
But they're not fooling me.
'Course, myself, I'm just as likely to resort to country music in a break-up or argument situation... either that or "Don't Speak" by No Doubt.

The Nazareth version of Love Hurts was by far the superior one.
"You ain't gonna get off down the trail a mile or two, and go missing your wife or something, like our last cook done, are you?"
"My wife is in hell, where I sent her. She could make good biscuits, but her behavior was terrible."

Wouldn't be my choice, but I just remembered an incident a couple of years ago where a girl dumped her guy by calling the local radio station he apparently listened to at work... to request Bye Bye Boyfriend by Fefe Dobson and dedicate it to him. The DJ was laughing about that for a good month afterward.
