Three lefts only make a right at perpindicular paths. And you have not made six right-angled wrongs to make your three adjacent lefts.

This is because of two main reasons. 1) we don't have enough data on the Sovereign class to come to an agreement 2) We can't get some people to realize that Starfleet isn't a military.

Starfleet would fall under the title of 'armed forces', ergo they are a military.
