Notes

Pioneer 10 was the first Earth spacecraft to go past Mars orbit and the first to cross the asteroid belt. After passing by Jupiter and Saturn it left the solar system and headed off into interstellar space. [1]

Eventually, It was discovered by Klingons floating in the depths of space, where it was unceremoniously used as target practice by their board captain and destroyed. [3]
