A ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by using a special laquar dusted with, or mixed in with, gold. The resultant pot does not try and hide the cracks but instead emphasises them, making the item more beautiful in the process. [1]

Christine Chapel once said that Spock and La'An worked better as a couple than she and spock, as their broken parts fitted together better, much like Kintsugi. [1]
