On a visit to Vadia IX a magnetic anomaly was discovered. On closer inspection is was discovered to be a trigger mechanism to protect access to a hidden ancient high tech building. The USS Enterprise used its deflector system send to beams down to the planet, via amplifiers setup on the surface. The beams then interacted with the magnetic anomaly which then projected onto the wall in front of it. The beams activated a system in turn to remove the wall reviewing the building. [1]
