NotesImagesPlanets List
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Tezaar [1]

Tezaar is an M-Class planet located at coordinates 3756.7212 with a day length of 23.8 hours and year length of 390 days. It has an estimated mass of 5.80812 x 1024 Kg and an estimated age of 6.112 x 109 solar years. It has an atmospheric composition consisting of 79% Nitrogen, 19% Oxygen, 0.9% Methane, 0.6% Carbon Dioxide, 0.4% Argon and track amounts of water vapour and glycine. It had a mean surface temperature of 15.8°C. [1]

It was home to multiple species including the pre-warp civilisation called the Tezaarians. The Vulcan's made contact with the Tezaarians prior to the founding of the Federation. At the time they provided them with a solution to global collapse and a nuclear-based method of powering their entire world. [1]

In 2261 the Vulcans contacted the USS Enterprise to request that they assist the Tezaarians in repairing the nuclear reactor before it could cause a planet wide nuclear meltdown. To avoid violation of the prime directive four members of the Enterprise crew converted themselves to Vulcans and with Spock visited the planet and repaired the system. [1]
