An Ocampa, Tanis was one of those who lived on Suspiria's array. Thanks to her influence he had lived for 14 years, far longer than the usual eight year Ocampa lifespan, and had developed his mental abilities to a very high degree. He was a strong influence on Kes during her visit to the array, but she came to realise that Tanis was somewhat lacking in compassion and respect for others. [1]
