Captain of the USS Brattain, Zaheva was in command when the ship was trapped in a Tychen's Rift in 2367. She suffered from lack of REM sleep caused by the telepathic emissions from the crew of another ship also caught in the rift, and was ultimately driven insane. She was killed in the ensuing disturbances aboard the ship. [1]
