A Tholian, Falstrene [The Gray] was a member of the Tholian ruling body. In 2265 he took part in a discussion on the Political Castemoot Sublink of the Tholian telepathic lattice concerning the Federation intrusion into the Taurus Reach. He pointed out that for Tholia to defend against the Federation's intrusion into that space they would need to colonise the area themselves. During the course of the conversation he experienced the massively powerful alien thought pulse which disrupted the lattice. [1]
