Jeremy Beadle dies

You really do have misguided priorities!Captain Seafort wrote: I used to love Beadle's About and YBF.
Still, condolences to his family.

I used to like his programs, (though YBF run out of steam after a couple of series. There's only so many times you can find home video of someone falling over funny). I also liked Noel's House Party, and when I was younger I hugely enjoyed Paul Daniels show.
But like Ian said they went out of fashion, and it became fashionable to talk about how awful they where, ignoring the fact they got huge viewing figures back in the day.
I've read several times in the last few years that Jeremy Beadle was a geniunely nice bloke. RIP.
