Saw him at the last New Year's Eve and... he wasn't looking so good.

I didn't think he looked any different from any other appearance since he had the stroke. Either way, it marks the passing of an iconic and underratedly-influential figure in global popular music. Interesting note: my mother-in-law met him when she appeared on the original American Bandstand.
