Even for him, 10 Billion dollars is a pretty large number.

You know I'm usually not a huge fan of Gates, but this is truely awesome. By far one of the greatest contributions o humanity in the last 50years. Hellif he really follows through with this and drives in the education and smacks down on the anti-vac crazies out there I'd even go so far as to say this is Nobel peave prize territory.

This is the definition of awesome. The sheer magnitude of that contribution is staggering, even as a percentage of Bill Gates' assetts; we don't often see the super-rich give that sort of ptoportion. Also, I almost cheered out loud when I read this:

Yeah, whatever you think of Micosoft (or its often illegal behavior in the 1990s before Gates handed off CEO duties to Steve Ballmer), the dude is becoming one of the greatest philanthropists in history. That makes him a VERY cool guy in my view.

It's amazing isn't it? We'll invent the most ridiculous hyperbole and spray it all over the air waves, "Death Panels, Hitlerite-Socialist-Kenyan-Communist!" yet something true and important we'll tip toe around for fear of offending someone. When something like that is making the rounds people need to just speak the truth about it.
