New Zodiac

Post by Monroe »

Kind of cool, we now have 13 in the Zodiac. I've never bought into astrology as I don't think anyone on this forum has unless some crazy new person showed up while I stopped posting. But I thought it was interesting enough to share with you guys. I couldn't find a good link as I originally heard about it on Maddow and my net is acting stupid so I can't really dig through a lot of links but from what I found it seems like its old news.

So maybe this is the Mayan dooms day prophecy, changing of the stars is pretty traumatic for a culture like theirs. Congrats we all lived... phew that was a close one.

Anyway, here's the new chart:
Capricorn: Jan. 20 - Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 - March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18- May 13
Taurus: May 13- June 21
Gemini: June 21- July 20
Cancer: July 20- Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10- Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16- Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30- Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23- Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29- Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17- Jan. 20

I think this appropriately describes the way I feel about the whole thing, and it's a good laugh.

Thank god, I'm free of the horrible influence of being a Capricorn. Maybe now my life can mean something.

Well, this has... no impact on my life in any way whatsoever.

So I'm a Leo now rather than Virgo? Funny I didn't feel my life changing either.

..and what will the bullshit promulgators astrologers ascribe to this new sign? They'll all have to pull new crap out of their asses (and can't claim that anything in this 13th sign is related to ancient wisdom)

I informed my mother that I am now a Taurus and she informed "sounds about right since you act like one anyways".

guess the Astrologers are finally figuring out the whole concept of precession....and how to count.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Personally I'm still trying to figure out whether going from a scorpion to a scales is a promotion or demotion. :|

Apparently I'm a Gemini now. Yay.

So does this mean my character has changed from being like a Cancer to being like a Gemini now? Or does it mean that I was always like a Gemini and people were wrong about me being like a Cancer? Or does it mean that the description that used to apply to Cancer now applies to Gemini?

Or is the whole thing just a gigantic pile of fetid dingo's kidneys anyway, and so none of it actually matters a damn?
