Fallout
Just got this; I'm really liking it so far. Any advice from veteran players here?

Re: Fallout
Which one did you get? There're three of them so far, with a fourth coming out later this year.

Re: Fallout
Fallout 3?
Small Guns (or Energy Weapons if you have the GOTY edition) will keep you set for the entire game, there the most common. Though if you do the alien abduction quest immediately, you'll be set for ammo and energy guns for the ENTIRE rest of the game. Plus the rest of the stuff like alien crystals will keep you set for bartering as well.
Repair: save cash by repairing everything you can. Sell it all in town.
Lockpick: sell explanatory
Take the scrounger and whatever the other perk is that gets you more ammo/caps ASAP. Ammo you don't use is free money.
Find Fort Independence, sign up to bring in kit the Outcasts want. It gets you free stimms, ammo or grenades.
Don't bother with the rad resist perks. Theres more radaway in the game then you could ever use.
Take Quantum Chemist. It convert every ten cokes into a quantum coke, which can be used to make a nuke grenade (most powerful in the game.)

Marry the ho in the second game. At the very least you can pimp her out later for extra cash.

Re: Fallout
Don't join the slavers though, they tattoo something on your forehead and that means constant ambushes by the Rangers.
