What Aspect Of The Internet Annoys You The Most?

We all have our pet hates, and the internet is certainly not exempt from them. So just what things make you immediately start hammering the back button on your browser?
To start off, I'm going to say Youtube's comments section. Regardless of which video you happen to be watching, simply scrolling down to the comments section will provide you with all the proof you need that aliens need to nuke the Earth into nothing to stop us from spreading.

I'm gonna have to agree with you there. I almost want to punch the people through their screens.

I'll agree with the comments section, though I'd be less specific. Youtube hardly has a monopoly on morons.
I'd say for myself though, its advertising. Online advertising has always been annoying, to the point that most browsers now come with programs specifically to deal with them, such as pop up blockers. I don't mind the banners above, below, or to the sides of a site, but any advertising that pops up, redirects, super-imposes or has sound annoys the crap out of me.

The addon "Adblock" stops 90% of them. For Firefox and Chroma at least.

Agreed about the more invasive ads - specifically, pop-under ads.

What, like Google?
But yeah, I wish there was an option to remove the comments section, its annoying to have to hit that arrow all the time.

I hate the Yahoo homepage. The advertising was/is so intrusive with flash animations that not only hog processor/memory resources but are of no interest. I gave up on it years ago. I now use a customised Google homepage.

I'll agree with Harry. Not on the Yahoo thing but on the principle of hating overly jazzed up pages.
When a page is more flash than substance, pun intended, it accomplishes nothing. Do I need fifteen animated images, pop out menus, fades to other pages, and video and audio all over the place? No, it's a waste of fucking resources that does nothing for me. One of the reasons I like DITL so much is that its simple, easy to use, and gets me right to what I want. No hunting through popping up, fading, and moving menus.
