Ok, ok, someone on this site HAD to have considered naming their offspring or future offspring after one of the Star Trek characters.

For example Uhura Deepcrush, James T. Tsukiyumi or Quark Kennedy have nice rings to 'em.

But I will have to admit had my cocker spaniel had been female we would have named her Kes. But since he's male his name is Topper, after the main character in Hot Shots. 8)

Its horrible that this had to come up. One of the girls at works husband is a Transformers nut. After seeing Transformers 2 he wanted to get her IUD removed so she could get pregnant again (they have a one year old daughter).

Just so he could have a sun, and name him............you guessed it. Optimus Prime Holyfield.
