Saudi Paedophile To Be Beheaded & Crucified

A Saudi court has ruled that a man convicted of raping five children will be beheaded and crucified.
Muhammad Basheer al-Ramaly, 22, left his youngest victim, aged three, stranded in the desert to die.
He was caught when he tried to abduct another boy by offering him a lift home from school in his car.
The court of appeal in Riyadh approved the death sentence handed down in June. Beheading is permitted for serious offences in the conservative kingdom.
More than 40 people have been executed in such a fashion this year.
Reports suggest Ramaly lured children into his car near their school, near the town of Hail, and took them to isolated areas to rape them.
Human rights group Amnesty International has criticized the court proceedings saying Ramaly did not have access to a lawyer during his trial and that there are reports he may suffer from a psychological disorder.
International rights advocates have long been critical of the death sentences in Saudi Arabia, but the authorities defend the practice as a quick and clean form of execution sanctioned by the Islamic faith.
Crucifixion means the body will be attached to wooden beams and displayed in public after the beheading.
One hell of a punishment

I don't normally agree with those guys but in this case I think we could take a leaf out of their book

Seems very odd to crucify him after they've cut his head off. You've got to wonder why he didn't have a lawyer during his case, very odd.

I was about to say, why would you assume he'd get a lawyer. This is the middle east, Africa with suicide bombers.
That said, if he did it he ain't doing it again.

Well, to be fair. Not to long ago in the US. If you were mountain folk and someone did that. You took them a day or two's ride into the woods. Followed with breaking their arms and legs then leaving them there. So, this is more then nice by some standards... I guess.

Personally, I'd cruficy him FIRST to the point of death.....then as he's fading, lop his head off.

Ummm... so what?
I do appreciate that the article explained at the end what "crucifixion" means. Not being a Christian or an ancient Roman, I'd have had no idea.

I gotta agree. So what if he's got a mental disorder? If he does then he's a continuing danger to society and should be removed. If he doesn't then he's still a sick fuck who's getting what's coming to him.
Drawing and Quartering, now there was a punishment.
