Good stuff, there. Once they begin mass-production, blood donations shouldn't be needed at all.

Pretty cool, give me some and make me super-human for four hours!
More seriously, my first thought was "good, now we won't have to watch JW kids die".

Damn I'm going to lose my extra few bucks every couple of weeks.

You'd probably make as much recycling cans.

Its like $80 a month.
I guess this would prove the storyline of 'True Blood' to be true or not. Would be kind of cool if Vampires came out of the closet... metaphorically speaking.. not saying Vampires are gay... "I vant to suck your..." hmm maybe some are.

A whole bunch of them have homoerotic tendencies, that's for sure. Ever read "Interview With The Vampire"?
Anyways, I'm fascinated with the possibilities of this stuff; like Kendall said, I could use a shot every once in a while to give me a superhuman boost.
Time to clean out the garage? Shot.
Make love to a significant other? Shot.
Take my rusted-out grill that collapsed this morning out to the street? Shot.
I hate needles, but this is the sort of thing that I'd use an epipen for, no doubt.

Well you know they have developed a replacement for needles. Its not just in widespread use yet.

It's too late here for me to read the link, but is this anything like the artificial lab-grown organs and limbs we're meant to have in the future? I've also heard people talking about humans having artificial implants in the brain and whatnot, doing calculations and beaming the Internet right into our heads.

There's some interesting stuff about that
here.
Here's an old article about Oxycyte, before it was proven.

Good good. I was never able to give blood anyway, purely because I have had a major immuno-deficiency disease when I was 4. I think I just about drained Hampshire of doner blood and Gamma-Globulin.

And theres the minor thing that gays are not acceptable blood doners anyway.

This is good to hear. More blood available means less people dying, which I'm all for.
