Movies where you cheered for the villains

Pretty straightforward. When did you find yourself hoping the bad guys would win, and why?

To get the ball rolling, Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World. Jesus Christ, I wanted every one of the tree-hugging fuckwits dead from the start. And as for the guy who sabotaged the guns so that they couldn't kill the dinosaurs, thus causing the deaths of a dozen or so innocent people.....well, I don't think I've ever hated a "good guy" more than him.

'Course, I was rooting for the raptors in all of the JP films. :P

Anything historical involving Mel Gibson. Mainly because those depicted as bad guys in the film were invariably the good guys. See The Patriot, Braveheart, etc.

Those were the bad guys not the good guys :P

I know the title characters were the real bad guys - that's what I just said. :P

Seafort - where do you stand on The Passion of the Christ? Must be tough to make a decision, as there were no Englishmen at all in that movie.

There were, however, some Scots. :P

I don't have a problem with the Scots unless they're up against England, so in this case the Gibson rule holds.

The Predator films. And Terminater 2, I wanted to see the T-2000 shut up the kid for good.

The Chronicles of Riddick, I'm a big fan of the Lord Marshal.

Total Recall, Vilos Cohaagen and Richter were far cooler then Quaid/Hauser.

Conan The Barbarian, Thulsa Doom was simply an excellent character.

But their evolution of characters was brilliant.

The 60's Italian movie El Alamein, where outnumbered, heroic, noble Italians battle against the ruthless armoured hordes of the evil fascist British. I was firmly behind the villains as they thunder over the dunes in another wave of M113 APC's to break against the unyielding Italian defences.
Also, it's the only WWII pic I've seen set outside the Pacific that writes the Germans out of the war.

I really liked Alfred Molina as Doc Ock in Spiderman 2. In fact I still think the second spiderman movie is by far the best one because of the brilliant Alfred Molina.
