WW1 veteran Henry Allingham, dies. Less than a month ago, Mr Allingham was declared the world's oldest man by Guinness World Records.

Sleep well Henry, you deserve it :)

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

RIP

I wonder if we'll have one of those odd historical coincidences where the last survivors all die on that day.

That would either be incredibly depressing or uplifting as they finally get the rest they deserve.

I'm thinking uplifting. It was the 25th Anniversary of the Constitution that three Presidents died right? Anyone remember?

I believe two. Jefferson and John Adams, but not 100% sure.
