OMG that was great! To bad they cancelled the Youtube feed. Though, I would have loved to be there and see it in person.

Could she have been expecting a positive outcome? I'm no zoologist, but even I know that the polar bear is the most bloodthirsty of all the bears.

She was apparently upset over losing her job, so I guess she thought death by polar bear was a good option.

See what happens when you outlaw guns in your country?

Ok, just seeing the retards we collect on here which is based off of science fiction with the hope of IQ... you're shocked that some lame brain from the world felt the need to learn a new place in the food chain.

One day while doing a search on animals on You Tube I came across a section showing animals attacking their prey. Now I have watched the big cats and crocs attack but I have not really seen the large bears attack. All I can say is that they are magnificent creatures, but very, very vicious and their attacks are brutal.

She's not eligible for a Darwin Award, though - you have to either kill yourself or render yourself incapable of reproducing. But she certainly deserves an honorable mention. :P

Not shocked - just trying to figure out the deficient mental process.

She didn't die, so sadly this isn't a Darwin Award (though given who we're dealing with, it's only a matter of time, I'd say).
I'll blame this on another idiot who doesn't realise that those cuddly animals are fucking dangerous.

Not only are they dangerous (though you can be around them with relative safety at times), this was during feeding time!
Jumping in there was like saying "EAT ME!".

I hope the zoo nor the animal get punished for this in any way.

As I said, easily the most dangerous bear, and one of the more dangerous predators around. IIRC, polar bears are the only bears that are almost completely carnivorous, and prefer to hunt other mammals.

I saw an interesting show a few months ago about a rare polar-grizzly hybrid that someone had shot in Canada.

:? I thought the size difference alone would have prevented that.
