Pretty awesome. So ends the reign of George III. Kind of fitting considering who was King of England when America got its independence. Happens tonight, hope everything goes off without a hitch.

They had a little trouble with the oath: Obama and Roberts talked over each other, and then Roberts fucked up by putting the word "faithfully" in the wrong place.

any one notice the error in the speech?
Obama said he was the 44th person to take the oath, but he's the 43rd person the 44th president. Garfield servied two terms but not back to back, so he get's counted as two presidents even though he's the same person.

It almost seems as if you're damned if you do, damned if you don't with that one, because if he had said he was the 43rd person, then I can imagine a ton of people who didn't know better thinking he got it wrong because they've heard that he's the 44th president.
