Cool.
I suppose on the other end of the spectrum you'd have a fugitive living next door to an FBI agent who is hunting him down.
so, any one of us might do well to be wary when the neighbor knocks at the door...

Actually, I've heard about that happening a time or two, interestingly enough.

Weird. Reminds me of that story of a woman getting lost in a shopping centre and not being able to find the exit for several weeks.

What, did she set up camp in the outdoors section?

It's true. IIRC, it happened in one of those huge super-shopping centres in France. She got lost, couldn't find the way out, and apparently was too embarressed to ask anyone for directions. I'll see if I can dig up any articles on it.

Not quite as embarassing, but we got stuck in a carpark on a school trip to France. The driver got confused, so we quite logically decided to "Follow the locals".
After 10 minutes, we realised that the car in front was following the car in front, who was following the car in front and so forth. It transpired we were infact following ourselves round the carpark like some horrid motorised conga line.
Also, a quick examination of the license plates revealed that none of the other cars were actually driven by 'locals'.

You laugh, apparently there was a guy in Ottawa a few years back that lived in the St. Laurent Centre. Used the serivce corridors to move around cause there are no cameras back there and slept in a vent IIRC.
