Not a bad idea. Let those who sound like they know what they're talking about debate, and shuffle the numpties off out of the way.

You gotta be careful about this debate, though. At the moment, all the talk is of how Biden is going to destroy and humiliate Palin. Fine, if it happens. But it's been so built up, basically if she puts up an even remotely reasonable performance then it will be seen as a huge letdown for Biden.

He's been talked into a position where he has to destroy her, even to meet people's expectations.

But, destroy her gently. It's definitely a delicate situation for him.
