Dick Morris: We Didn't Invade Iraq

Post by Nutso »

Prepare to laugh. Fox News political "pundit" on Hannity & Colmes, says the U.S. was invited by the Iraqi government into Iraq therefore it's not an invasion. At least Alan Colmes takes Dick to task, somewhat. I try to watch as much political discourse as I can to get a balanced view of American politics but, this is too much. :bangwall:

Can anyone ever truly say something like "we went into Iraq at the invitation of the government, not as an invasion," and really mean it? Will the average Fox News fan believe it? I hope anyone who watches this doesn't become dumber.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

This is what Americans have to put up with. A candidate who believes that countries don't invade countries in the 21st Century, and dipshits who defend him through the most stupid reasoning of all. I watch Fox News to try to understand how the opposing side of my viewpoints think, and this is the garbage I get?

This where you're going wrong. I understand your method, but you're basing it on a unsupported assumption - namely that "Fox News" and "thinking" have any relation to each other.

Ahh. I see.

Note to self: when watching Fox News, turn brain off.

Seriously, just....WTF?

Sorry, but I just can't get over the sheer.....stupidity of that. Just WTF is that guy smoking? Is anyone seriously going to believe that?

Now I remember why I don't watch American news chanels.

Me too. Caffity or whatever his name is good too. He needs his own show instead of just reading emails lol.

And don't feel bad I watch FOX News occationally to see the other side as well. Only way to get real journalism is from several sources so you can sift through the BS.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

I only recently learned that from Scott Ritter. He was talking about his travels to Britain. At breakfast the hotel gave him 5 newspapers to read, versus the one newspaper he is used to reading in the U.S. He got to read five points of view and used that to understand British politics.

The problem with using Fox news as your other source is that they are so often way off the mark... look at Coultier, according to her Canada fought alongside America in Vietnam...

True. However Fox News is the loudest, most slanted "News" network available. CNN is a distant second. MSNBC is biased towards the left. I can observe a lot by watching these Faux News cretins. Today I got to see how a wingnut thinks, and the delusions he uses to defend his party's words and actions. Never forget that you can learn from stupid people. How not to be them. 8)

"As for catching Osama its irrelevant, things are going swimmingly in Afghanistan"...

To me this one is even better though, it shows her inability to grasp reality so perfectly, its too bad the Dems don't remind people that these types are Republicans...
