Which Empire / Nation / Regime would you rule?

Personally I wouldn't mind ruling the Warhammer 40k Terran Empire. Make everyone think that you're an immortal Emperor 10,000 years old, have a legion of Inquisitors as you clean the galaxy out of Xenos and heretics.

Second choice would be to rule the Star Wars Empire during the height of its power. Run an Empire spanning 4 times the length of our Galaxy with a palace the size of Texas.. good times.

Another vote for the Empire. Fly around in a Star Destroyer, command Stormtroopers to fight and die for you, what's not to love?
