Make Your Own Movie Plot

YOU are given the chance to write an original Trek movie (any crew... assume all actors are still alive and well, as if it were 15 years ago). What is the plot?

Screw TNG. They're all a buncha drones. Do a DS9 or VOY cast movie. Voyager's cast probably split up after the end, but the DS9 cast could easily reunite without stretching belief too much and would tie up the loose ends of Bajor and Sisko.Thorin wrote:I want to see more Borg, but it was done so soon before! I'd have the TNG cast (I'm sorry!). Something big, actiony, and dramatic. Like how Nemesis should have been but without the stupid things. Perhaps a remake of ST6, but with the Romulans instead of the Klingons
Well, at least the Earth wasn't doomed again. Earth is such a trouble magnet. It either Borg this, alien doomsday device that, it gets tired after a while.to save a random planet-of-the-week
True. I maintain, however, that there's a balance to be struck between "Earth's in danger yet again" and "random planet we've never heard of before and never will again is in danger".ChakatBlackstar wrote:Well, at least the Earth wasn't doomed again. Yes, pre-warp planet we've never heard of was a bit to far on the other end of the scale. I'm thinking a DS9 movie should be about Bajor in danger rather then earth.Captain Seafort wrote:True. Look at ST II, look at ST VI. Two of the greatest of the Trek movies, and Earth was never in any danger in either one of them.Captain Seafort wrote:True. Right, but look at ST I, IV, First Contact, Nemisis, and about 2 dozen episodes per series. Even Voyager had to save Earth and they're supposed to be in the Delta Quadrent.GrahamKennedy wrote:Look at ST II, look at ST VI. As long as the E-E (with Riker and Sisko in support) head up I ain't bothered
