If there's any Naruto fans on this board, I'd like to make a thread here.
Spoilers can be posted, and if you read the latest chapters or seen the latest episode, you can rank it and discuss it.

I love Naruto. It actually inspired my 'Zappas' holo-clone ability(from my stories, none of the 'published' ones). I keep watching it for insperations. Awesome battle music too IMO

Here's the brief. Naruto is an orphan kid who has the spirit of the nine-tailed demon fox sealed away inside him and he really wants to become a ninja and the village leader so that everyone will finally look up to him. He's also not that bright but he's got fighting spirit and does things his own way. His favorite techniques are Shadow Clones(copys that can hit people but they can only take one hit from the enemy), transformation(self explanitory), and this Rasengan thing(I'm not sure about spelling, but it involves him doing this sphere of chakra(ninja energy) that can do k.o. to lethal damage). He often uses these in unusual combos. His major advantage is that he has the spirit of the demon fox which gives him an extra reserve of energy.
The show is about Naruto and how he tries to become accepted and how him and his friends deal with trying to become high-ranked ninjas as well as defending their village and doing jobs like escorts for other smaller villages.
It's probably not your kind of thing Mikey.

BELEIVE IT!
Yeah, im not so hot on Naruto, really, though ive only ever seen the english dubs. When the Protagonist annoys the hell otu of you whenever he's got screen time your not really going to like that show.
Also, seeing as ninjas are masters of stealth i dont understand why all the ninja's at Naruto's school go around in brightly coloured jumpsuits (Naruto's is orange >.>) And wear headbands with highly reflective mirrors on them with the japanese word for 'ninja' enscribed upon it.

My favorite fight in the series was, actually, Rock Lee beating the hell out of uber-kid Uchiha Sasuke. It was actually pretty gratifying, considering what happens later on in the series.

Shikamaru Nara is my favorite character becuase I'm a lot like him. I'm a genius, but I never do anything so most people don't see it, and I often act immature. But I will spring into action to help a friend in need.

I'm actually down for explorations of Shinto-influenced tales of possession, etc. - the eight million and all that. What bugs me about this (just going by the explanation given here) is the constant misrepresentation of ninja. The ninja clans were not any more or less spiritual than other Japanese of the time, and chakra is a Buddhist - not Shinto - concept at any rate. The ninja were originally disenfranchised clans who developed techniques of subterfuge and cunning to defend thenselves and defy the samurai and the Shogunate.

Chapter 403 Review. Score, 7.8/10:
Where do I start. Well lets see, Naruto is back in Konoha with now, laying in his bed in what seems like a depression. He's trying to wrap his mind around his conversation between himself and Itachi. Itachi gave Naruto half his power, hoping that he'd never have to use it...Naruto may get the Sharingan due to this.
Sasuke then reminices about the night that Itachi destroyed his life...somehow he awakened the Sharingan that night. Effectively retconning his first activation against Haku. He then said he wouldn't take Itachi's eyes and revive the clan his own way.
