Your political ideology

Okay, so it's rather vague, I know. Still, I was interested in seeing whereabouts people stood on the political spectrum.
The options, obviously, aren't a comprehensive list of all posibilities, and I'm pretty sure I forgot a few, so let me know if I missed any major ones out.

Part of me really likes the facist belief but it has a really negative unwanted racial conitation that isn't even what facism is about. So I guess I like the super nationalism ideas of facism. I also really like freedom of religion and speech and am strongly against racism of civilians (I admit to being slightly racism agaisnt illegal immigrants, but I think I probably just don't like them--soon as they become citiziens I like them). On the right side I like the death sentence and gun rights. However, I also am pro-choice and am concerned over the environment (which is moving to a shared idea instead of left).

So I'm going to click other center.

Hmmm... the author of this poll hasn't yet cast his opinion...

I checked "left of center" because that is the direction of most of my leanings; however, I avoided "liberal" because:
1: "Liberal" internationally has a far different connotation than it does in the U.S. - one which is far more "liberal" than a U.S. "liberal," and which deosn't describe me; and
2: There are certain issues on which my opinion is staunchly conservative.

I'm going to have to say Conservative. I believe in not just big government but very big government. The more people the better. I wouldn't want to call myself a racist but that's because I enjoy hating everyone as equals. If I don't like you then you are worth the same as anyone else I don't like. That, being nothing. Throwing a penny at you would be a waste of money and throwing a rock would be a waste of natural resources. I am of mixed thought to the Pro-choice and Pro-life as I think that it should depend on what the cause or problems are. I believe in a strong military and have little concern about immigration. If they want to come here then let them, but control them better. My family was required to enlist during the civil war to come over. I say do the same with them. I support the First Strike policy and Eye for an Eye. I am strongly against outsourcing anything.

That's me in short, everything else I'm sure you all know by now.

Rochey? There's a "Tyrus" who wants to have a word with you... shall I tell him you're out?

Please do. And tell him I've decided to take a trip to the Sabatt Worlds for a vacation. That should keep him occupied for a while, while I find somewhere to hide.....

No thanks, their dental plan sucks.

Hmm, so far the poll is split even, with Socialist, Conservative, Other (left) and Other (centre) all having a single vote each.

I went for Other: Left. I used to be interested in politics in my younger days, and considered myself socialist. A few years with the University's Labour party group left me disillusioned with politics in general and the Labour party in general. My views have hardened and moved to the right over the years, though I still think of myself as a lefty.
I suspect that 17 year old me would rather dislike 33 year old me.

I'm honestly not sure. I am not particularly involved in Politics, and would need to research more. All i know is that I live in a Liberal Democrat area (Not sure what they are) but my family is mainly Conservative.

*Drops a duffle in front of Rochey. Stacked with credits, transit IDs for the world he is on, passport for Holy Terra and a small note.*

I'm a republican who voted against bush. (I'm really a moderate, but I can't stand the democrats smug hypocricy so I hang with the republicans).

I'm interventionalist, but you should think that s**t though first!
I support the idea of "workfare" as a social net as opposed to the other things we use

For immegration I support building the wall first. Then working things out.

Half of me thinks abortions are wrong. The other ruthlessly practical half wants to drug the water supply in the inner city with birth control and have vac-o-matic abortion clinics. Where you can get a milkshake and fries with that.

Support gun rights, and throwing the book at lawbreakers who make the rest of us look bad.
