Episode 1 & 2 dropped today..felt a bit 'thin' overall, not the quality of other Lucas productions...hoping it gets better as the trailers teased.

I heard it's 'super woke'. Is that true? Granted being woke nowadays just means a woman has an opinion or you show a black man with a talking line.

Now have seen 4 episodes...still feels forced and thin in many aspects. Not sure if this is a Ron Howard issue trying to make it feel like the film, or a Disney+ issue of having spent their budget on the many Marvel/Star Wars series with nothing much left for Willow.

After episode 5, I feel that I have to stick it out until the end. But it makes me a little sad, with all the things I've mentioned previously, just isn't as charming as the original film.

Episode 6 was a little better, thanks to CS and his fine over-acting abilities (yes, that was a compliment!).

I haven't seen episode 6 yet but, like you, I feel I have to stick this out to the end. Maybe I am hoping Val Kilmer shows up?
This show reminds me of Hercules The Legendary Journey, and Xena: Warrior Princess but less adult.

Finished the series and it was ok as a whole. Felt short-changed in many aspects but watchable if you can see past the faults.
Not sure I would move forward should they decide to create more content.
