Really? Let's think of an equivalent. You get jumped by seven guys - all bigger than you - while you're kneeling in church. Not only do you beat them up, you kick their asses so hard that they give you their wallets and watches. That's a personal analog of the Yom Kippur War.

Sure, they were bigger then me and there were more of them. BUT, I have armor and air support against their feather sticks.

Please tell me you're not really that stupid.
Okay so if someone landed on your boat and just started firing mass vollies into a crowd of people around you then you would...? I think its a pretty human response to fight back. I'm not saying that's what happened on the boat, but IF that was what the crowd perceived then their response was very understandable. And in the chaos of the night they might think those paint balls are real live fire and they might think the Israelis are just going to try to kill them all.

Going to add onto that statement so people don't think I would rush armed guards. If I was with a group of people cornered against a wall and the people cornering us looked to have the intent on killing us all I think most people would rush forward and fight. IF the boat thought they were being executed or if they really were being executed their response is understandable. The footage would give us an idea on what was going on.

Just a few "IFs" in there?

There will always be ifs, especially when international politics and bad ideas are involved.

Thats a duh, but the problem is that when "facts of actions" are presented at the same time as a few hundred "ifs".

There were only three of those ifs in his last post, one of which was "If I" which doesn't really count since thats just putting himself into their perspective.

Your math is worse then mine if you only counted three if's.

Deep practices special math, Stitch :p

The other two ifs are either / or too.

Actually, I'm pretty sure most people's response to being attacked by people with guns when they themselves don't have guns is to run or cower in fear. Relatively few people have the ability to think coherently under threat of immediate death, and an aggressive response to a threat that seems overwhelmingly dangerous (guns vs no guns) is not typical.

Columbine is a great example, how many students tried to attack the shooters? None, they all fled, or cowered, even when the shooters were blasting those that did either.
